With a 3.5kw 3 phase mixer motor and 8 x 7.5kw heating elements there’s no slow warm up to go from straight water to a wash on your mash in or to turn around after fermentation and hit a quick stripping run or to put a half dozen plates in a column on the top for a finished product straight from the wash. This price includes the UL control panel and 8”, 6 plate Column as pictured. We’ve used this for whiskey and most recently rum. It’s an easy still to run, especially if you’re used to running smaller batches. The bigger the batch the easier it has been for us so if you’re used to running smaller batches you’ll be thrilled to have this one when you crank things up for the first time.
